A change request does not prove either expertise or inability. Identify the actual concern, protect the feature the customer values and test an alternative under comparable conditions. Approve a documented garment version, not a vague instruction to make it easier.

Check whether the supplier suits your garment and order before paying for development. Then use sampling to test execution and communication. A beautiful one-off piece is a reference to evaluate, not proof that every production garment will match it.

An easy-to-wear style and a stronger silhouette can serve different collection roles. Compare why the customer would buy, how the sample wears and what production requires. Attention and familiarity are hypotheses, not proof of a future bestseller.

Visible detail does not reveal the full manufacturing cost. A detailed style can use familiar, repeatable operations while a minimal style needs expensive materials or sensitive handling. Compare specifications and execution before judging either quote.

Start with the customer and the intended use. Correct the mismatch that prevents the dress from working, then review connected changes in the complete sample. A country name alone does not tell you to shorten the hem or change the size chart.

A manufacturing partner adds value when it clarifies requirements, explains development choices and carries the approved standard into production. Put those responsibilities in writing; a service label or a beautiful sample does not define the complete scope.
